WEEK 13 - OUR LAST WEEK

 WEEK 13 

5 DECEMBER - 9 DECEMBER 2022

It is the last week of our practicum as a teacher here in SK CBN (1), it's pretty quiet since it's the last week for school as well before they go for school holiday. As i don't have any other outside activities, I'm just going to state my experience here as a teacher.

I must say, doing my practical here is better than my expectation, like i didn't expect much honestly. since I'm not into children, and my first thought when i first came here is that I'm just going to my job during practical and just go. But then, it's true what my mentor did mention before this, that you'll get attached to the kids. At first i didn't understand what she meant by that, until the second month i do my practical here and yes i think i got attached with the class that i teach which is 4M. Even though there are some day where it's hard to control them as they do love to talk, yet they also do understand me by seeing my current state that I'm the type that don't like to get mad in anything, especially when teaching in my class, i appreciate the fact that they can see and react to it just to get the class get back to normal state for me to teach peacefully.

My point of view towards them also changes, I don't see them as a kid, yet i see them as a student's who are growing up, if that make sense. I can say that I'm quite different than the first time i came here. It's all thanks to the love i got from my students, since they're so nice to me. I do enjoy my 3 months here as a English teacher here. I love of how some of them are so pure when asking some questions towards me or even when i have to relief their class then they would scream of how happy they are when they saw me, there are even students that would run to me when they saw me just to hug me and say i love you, and how they asked me to be the permanent teacher here.

That would be it for me, I'm going to leave my journal and experience here, and that's the end of it from me
